Stump grinding
Stumps are ground below grade to create a safer, cleaner and more usable area.
Professional equipment, careful property protection and straightforward communication—from a single backyard stump to complex access and full-site work.

You should not need a long sales process to remove a stump. Most projects begin with a few photos and basic measurements.
Include the widest measurement, approximate height and a photo of the access route.
We explain the scope, grinding depth, mulch options and any access considerations.
We arrive with the right equipment, protect the area and complete the grinding efficiently.
Homes, commercial properties, contractors and tree companies rely on us for everything from straightforward stumps to steep slopes and narrow access.
Stumps are ground below grade to create a safer, cleaner and more usable area.
Accessible roots can be reduced when they interfere with lawns, paths, fencing or upcoming landscape work.
Grindings can be used to backfill the area or hauled away when arranged before the scheduled work.
Remove tripping hazards, free up planting space and prepare your yard for fencing, turf or landscaping.
Reliable support for tree companies, builders, landscapers, fence contractors and property managers.
Narrow gates, protected pathways and challenging slopes are evaluated carefully before scheduling.
A stump can make an otherwise finished property feel incomplete. Grinding clears the space so the next landscaping step can begin.
Drag the handle to compare the original stump with the finished area.
Every property is different. These projects show the planning, equipment and precision that go into the work.

Two days of grinding on a challenging hillside site.

Access routes are measured and protected before work begins.

Plywood and padding help spread weight and protect the route.

Complex placements are approached slowly and deliberately.

Text clear photos of the stump, the narrowest access point and an approximate measurement across the widest part. Many projects can be quoted from photos; unusual access or concealed conditions may require a site visit.
Typical grinding is approximately 5–10 inches below the surrounding grade, as site conditions allow. The required depth may change when the area will be replanted, paved or built over.
Grindings are normally used to backfill the grinding area and spread as evenly as practical. Haul-away is available for an additional charge when arranged before the scheduled work.
Often, yes. Send photos and the measurement of the narrowest gate, turn or side-yard passage. We will also review steps, slopes and delicate surfaces before confirming access.
Stump grinding reduces the stump and accessible surface roots, but it does not excavate every underground root. Full root-system excavation is a different type of project.
Include the city, approximate width and a photo of the access route. We will get back to you with the next step.
